MCREA attended the 3PL Summit & Chief Supply Chain Officer Conference last week in Chicago that was dedicated to the future of 3PLs and logistics. The conference was run by EFT (Eye For Transport). The forum brought together high level executives in logistics and their manufacturer and retailer supply chain counterparts. A few notable speakers included executives of Uber, Walgreens, Oracle, Office Depot, and Verizon, among others. Attendees discussed important topics such as the world of e-commerce, delivery and the new logistics economy. The role of technology and the evolution of 3D printing was also a key topic.
