Winco Foods, a small independent grocery retailer based in Boise, Idaho, was experiencing significant growth and was looking to purchase a significant piece of vacant land on which to build a 786,000 square foot distribution facility.


After working with the client to establish their needs and goals for future growth, a team of consultants, engineers as well as city and county officials were gathered to help facilitate the purchase of 87 acres of privately owned industrial land. Before the purchase was approved, extensive negotiations with the City of Boise took place with regards to road and sewer extensions as well as easements on city property. Once the improvements were secured, Winco commenced the construction on a 786,000 square foot distribution facility.


The Winco Food distribution facility is one of the largest buildings in the state of Idaho.
